Mel R. - Owner and Sports Rehabilitator
Mel is a Sport Rehabilitator, focusing on biomechanics, exercise rehabilitation and returning clients to a high level of functionality. Mel provides a range of treatments including massage, injury rehabilitation, biomechanics coaching, taping and strapping. Mel studied sports rehabilitation at the University of Cumbria, obtaining a First Class Degree with Honours in 2021.
Alongside her degree she completed a Level 1 Qualification in rocktape application, dry cupping, and the Level 2 PHICIS Rugby Football Union course.
Always aiming to improve her treatment options, she has passed a Hot Stone Massage Diploma course, and aims to complete both the NSCA Tactical Strength and Conditioning Facilitator exam soon.
Mel believes in listening to individuals and their stories, using education to reduce fear of movement, aiming to restore function and decrease pain. Working at North Berwick Rugby, Leuchie House, Home visits, and offering local event cover like the East Lothian Open and Edinburgh Marathon, we’re bound to have an appointment for you!

Once a year all regular appointments go out the window - the clinic closes and the gazebo opens.
We're there for the players, the spectators, and passers by. 10 minute and 20 minute slots are on offer for the whole tournament, this year it's the 20th - 26th of July. We're offering sports massage, injury advice, first aid, and sports taping. You can book in online just like any other appointment - booking is open now!
Drop ins are welocome but after the first few days it tends to get busy so booking in is encouraged. Payment can be taken by cash or card. We'll take some background info and crack on with the treatment. We'll have a basic first aid kit free to use if needed.

Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION
We request that you give our clinic at least 24 hours notice in the event that you cannot attend your scheduled appointment slot. If you cancel your appointment, with less that 6 hours notice, a late cancellation fee of 50% of your appointment cost will be charged, unless there are exceptional circumstances.
NON-ATTENDANCE
Missed appointments are considered to be cancelled appointments without adequate notice and therefore the full appointment fee will be charged.
LATE ARRIVALS
If you arrive late for your appointment we will do our best to deliver your full appointment time but please bear in mind this may not always be possible if we have a busy diary. In these cases the full appointment fee will stand.
